Dependent on your qualifications and experience your basic salary could be:-
£38,813 - £40,760 for Team Managers
£35,934 - £37,849 for Advanced Practitioners
£32,029 - £34,788 for Senior Social Workers
£29,636 - £31,371 for Social Workers
£26,999 - £28,785 for Social Workers (ASYE)
£23,836 for Support Workers awaiting qualification and /or HCPC registration
You will be paid on the 21st of each month and receive an annual increment until you reach the top of the grade.
We provide a contributory career average pension scheme, with employer contributions currently payable at 14.9% of your monthly salary.
On commencement you will be allocated a parking pass free of charge.
Car allowances are reimbursed at the appropriate rate for engine capacity as determined in the Local Conditions of Service. Incidental car travel expenses will also be reimbursed in respect of official journeys.
Essential Car User Allowance is available subject to criteria being met.
You will be provided with your own dedicated workspace within our open plan offices at Atlas House, allowing you easy access to not only colleagues and management within your own team but from a multitude of other Children’s Services Teams. There are also plenty of quiet spaces for those times when you need to get piece of work finished to move on with your day.
Our offices provide a modern, comfortable working environment and are just a short walk from the Town Centre.
We will offer you a minimum of 25 days annual leave rising up to a possible 30 days leave per year plus Bank Holidays.
We also offer an annual leave purchase scheme, enabling employees to purchase an additional weeks’ leave to allow greater flexibility in respect of their planned time off work.
If you live more than 25 miles away from St Helens Town Hall and choose to relocate to within the Borough boundary as a result of securing a job with the Council, subject to the conditions of the scheme being met, you may apply for the Recruitment Incentive Allowance which provides financial support for temporary housing accommodation or lodging allowance, removal expenses, legal and estate agents expenses.
